INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL MEDICINE CONSULTATION
Dr. Jay Mathers is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, certified by the International Society of Travel Medicine, and fellowship trained in Wilderness Medicine. The Colorado Mountain and Travel Medicine Clinic in Durango, CO provides a unique combination in foreign travel, adventure travel and austere environment travel consultation. Soon we will be expanding services for austere events, such as bike races, trail runs, group expeditions, and off road vehicle trip support, to name a few, with a mobile urgent care clinic.
VACCINATIONS
The Colorado Mountain and Travel Medicine Clinic is able to counsel patients regarding which vaccines are recommended for their travel plans, but unfortunately do not have the facilities to provide the vaccines at the time of the appointment. The CMTMC works closely with local pharmacies to provide and administer the vaccinations prior to travel, as well as any prescription medications that may be needed while traveling.
